sWatching from the sidelines as American Politics takes another nose dive into meanness, bullying, and ignorance I’ve concluded that Liberals still don’t get it and sadly, probably never will.
If you don’t already know, theater goers during a showing of the popular Broadway musical of Hamilton, literally booed Vice President Elect Mike Pence out of the building. It must be evident to most rational people, Liberals are not interested in healing a country divided, or making a person who they believe is different than themselves, feel welcomed and comfortable.
They went out of their way to make Mike Pence feel excluded, an outsider, unwelcomed, and targeted. If you were counting on the Progressives, Liberals, and Democrats to make this world a better place for everyone I would suggest you stop wasting your time.
As for the cast of Hamilton addressing Mike Pence directly, it was rather unprecedented. Did he pay to get lectured from the stage when he had no way to defend himself? Who does that? Ironically, they stood up and declared, ‘We Are A Diverse America’. This from the same organization who advertised for Non-Whites only to audition for their production. Uhmm, I don’t know about you but that sounds a LOT like discrimanation and hypocrisy.
I honestly wouldn’t care if the entire cast of Hamilton included not one single white actor or actress. To each their own. But, to stand and lecture about Diversity seems rather disingenuous and laughable.
Actually, hysterically unfortunate that Liberals idea of “Diversity” just means considering group identity rather than individual merit which isn’t Diveristy at all.
So, for all you starry eyed people who are still holding out hope the world will change for the better if you just demand it of others while making the people you don’t like or agree with feel ostracized, uncomfortable, hated, unwelcomed, and excluded … well good luck with that. I can pretty much guarantee you absolutely nothing is going to change.
America keeps talking about fear, of being afraid when it is hate, lack of faith, they are feeling more than anything.

So, you see? Fear is from lack of love, lack of faith, lack of self-comprehension. Taking personal accountability for our emotions is a wonderful step toward healing a country divided.
It would be nice if individuals took some responsibility for their feeling rather than blame others for it. We are never going to change the world blaming all our hate and lack of our capacity to love people different from ourselves.
Krishnamurti once wrote,
“The world is not something separate from you and me; the world is the relationship that we establish or seek to establish between each other. So, you and I are the problem, and not the world, because the world is the projection of ourselves, and to understand the world we must understand ourselves. That world is not separate from us; we are the world, and our problems are the world’s problems.”
So, when you boo or attack an individual because you disagree with them, please know that you are the world and you just made it a little more hostile than it was before your expression of isolation and exclusion. Hamilton shows us all that the people involved in attacking and lecturing Mike Pence when he had no way of defending himself in no way improved any ones life or made the world a better place to live.
Cease looking to Liberals, Progressives, or Democrats to change, heal or improve the world. They are too much involved in their own fear and themselves to show or give the world that unconditional love needed to change it, anyway.
