The Path To Prosperity Is Blue Is Bull

The Democrats believe the Path to Prosperity is in electing a Democrat. Should we really be taking advice from a political party whose policies have turned most US cities into a third world country?

When I read the headline recently produced by the New York Times by Poli-Sci professors, my initial reaction was one of shock. To believe people believe Government creates prosperity is nothing short of Communistic. As Friedrich Nietzsche once wrote, ”

“The state e is coldest of all monsters. Coldly it lies, too, and this lie creeps from its mouth: ‘I, the state, am the people.’ … Everything about it is false; it bites with stolen teeth.”

But, those from an ideological standpoint who believe in monsters want to convince you that society creates the man and man is in the service of society.

James Allen wrote ‘Path to Prosperity’ in the 19th century. No where will you find in any of his writings from ‘As a Man Thinketh’ to ‘The Way of Peace’ did he expound upon the virtues of Governments and Politicians as the answer to  prosperity and happiness. In fact, he believed that man was the creator of his life, not a victim of his circumstances as those in the Democrat Party like to peddle in order to keep people as commodities. A product bought and sold.

Below are some quotes from James Allen’s Path to Prosperity and tell me how in any way he promotes the idea that government is the answer to anything.

“If circumstances had the power to bless or harm, they would bless and harm all men alike., but the fact that the same circumstances will be alike good and bad to different should proves that the good or bad is NOT in the circumstances, but only in the mind of him that encounters it.”

Where Blue only sees the effects of things and NOT the things themselves, they are convinced that circumstances create us where in fact they reveal us to ourselves. But, I am repeating myself.

Allen again writes,

“All that we are is the result of what we have thought; it is founded in our thoughts; it is made up of our thoughts.” Thus said Buddha, and it therefore follows that if a person is happy, it is because they dwell in happy thoughts; if miserable, because they dwell in despondent and debilitating thoughts. Whether one be fearful or fearless, foolish or wise, troubled or serene, within that soul lies the cause of its own state or states, and never without.”

Again, James Allen is emphasizing the importance of our inner state rather than the effects of the out state (monster machine).

Allen in the chapter ‘The World is a Relfex of Mental States’ he shouts from the pages, “WHAT YOU ARE, SO IS YOUR WORLD.” This reminds me of Krishnamurti who wrote decades later, “What you are the world is.” or Joseph Campbell decades after Krishnamurti, “Man is not in the service of society, society is in the service of man.”

James Allen did not believe government & monster states would improve you or your circumstances. Only you had contained the power.

“The cause of all power, as of all weakness, is within: the secret of all happiness as of all misery is likewise within. There is no progress apart from unfoldment from within, and no such foothold of prosperity or peace except by orderly advancement of knowledge.”

“You say you are chained by circumstances; you cry out for better opportunities, for a wider scope, for improved physical conditions, and perhaps you inwardly curse the fate that binds you hand and foot. It is for you that I write; it is to you that I speak. Listen, and let my burn themselves into your heart, for that which I say to you is truth: You may bring about that improved condition in outward life which you desire, if you will unswervingly resolve to improve your inner life.”

Notice Allen did not say, “Change will come by electing certain politicians.”

But, one of my favorite passages of Allen’s ‘The Path To Prosperity’ is the Passage that simply begins, “Stop Complaining”.

“Cease your complaining and fretting; none of these things which you blame are the cause of your poverty; the cause is within yourself, and where the cause is, there is the remedy. The very fact that you are a complainer shows that you deserve your lot, shows that you lack FAITH which is the ground of all effort and progress. There is no room for a complainer ina  universe of law, and worry is soul-suicide. By your very attitude of mind you are strengthening the chains which bind you, and are drawing about you the darknes by which you are enveloped. Alter you outlook upon life, and your outward will alter. Build yourself up in FAITH and knowledge, and make yourself worthy of better surroundings and wider opportunities. Be sure first of all, that you are making the best of what you have. Do not delude yourself into supposing that you can step into greater advantages while overlooking smaller ones.”

What if a politician stood up and told the people that the only way to improve your circumstances is to improve yourself? You think they would have any chance in getting elected by a populace who wants to believe all their feelings of hate, poverty, ignorance is someone else’s fault and the only way anything is going to change is if they elect a politician who promises to make them a better person to bring about better circumstances?

No one wants to hear the truth, that they are the creators of their own life experiences. It is shame, too. How refreshing would it be if a politician stood before the American people and said, “Elect me because I believe ‘The Secret of all your trouble is not in your servants, it is in yourself.”

If you REALLY want to know for real The Path to Prosperity, read something of substance that could change your life. Read James Allen’s The Path To Prosperity, the read ‘As A Man Thinketh. Do not take advice from a fabricated partisan opinion article from the slanted NYT who expounds upon the soul crushing left wing ideology that supports monster states and lies.
